    Hi All

I would appreciate a minute of your time to give me your views on a kitchen product, I am a designer who is developing a new washing up bowl.  Although my patent has entirely new elements, I feel I need to better understand what most attracts you to existing products in the first place, in order to provide the best service possible.

    As such I  would appreciate it if you could give me an order of priority on the following;

    1 -           Shape

    2 -           Size

3 -           Colour (if so which?)

    4 -           Price

5 -           Function (e.g, some have rubber bases to protect glasses etc)

Thank you very much for your assistance. It would be very helpful for me to also know any of the following information if you are happy to give it; gender, age and area of the UK (or other)

    Thanks again,

    Matt

Ok, another example of people separated by a common Mother Tongue!

What is a "washing up bowl"?

    Hi Pete

I am talking about the plastic bowls used within the kitchen sink to assist in cleaning dishes. It is common across a lot or Europe (and sporadically across the world!) but often referred to by different terms.

    thanks for your response,

    regards

    Matt

Are you, perchance, referring to what might be known as a "dishpan"?

If so, I haven't seen one in many years.

You are talking about something for a home kitchen as contrasted with a commercial kitchen, correct?

Sounds like home use to me. I often do something similar with a pot or large bowl that is already dirty. Run some dish soap into the bowl, fill with water. Wash other dirty items and finish up with the bowl for last. Saves some water. I don't need a specialized bowl for such uses.
