We are trying to figure out what companies would be of most interest to you here on ChefTalk. So, with that in mind who are your favorite companies related to food and cooking (kitchen equipment, food companies, kitchen clothing, etc). We are not talking about forums/websites - simply companies that make/sell products and services.

Please list as many as you wish.

    Thanks!

Sur La Table as a walk in store, always excellent selection
Williams Sonoma with some reservation, they stock too many $2000 coffee makers and such and not enough in real world tools.
Crate & Barrel with even more reservations, but some of their small item binds have interesting things stocked

Farmer's Market - any one, anywhere actually.
Whole Food for excellent quality food and also some gadgets here and there
Safeway for every day shopping, quality is always pretty good
CostCo for bulk, for prime beef, whole fish fillets, deli meats

D'Artagnan for the occasional treat I can't find locally

    Shun knives
    Butcherpacker.com for butcher/charcutery items

    (used) book stores

    Fine Cooking
    Cuisine at Home
    Sauveur
    Bon Appetit

and this site of course :)

Is that what you're looking for?

Le Creuset, but that's probably just because I'm a home cook who likes expensive things.

Ditto the KA. Great no ask questions lifetime guarantee. They have replaced 2 stand mixers in the space of 3 years. Free return shipping, also.

    Other
    Wegman's Groceries.

Their produce department always looks ready for a photo shoot and is always filled with local produce any time it's available.

Same thing goes for seafood. They can tell me when any specific type of fish is coming in, so I can stop down and pick it up in a cooler and bring it home for sushi.
