White Truffle and dried Porcini

I got my usual Croatian Chrimbo present  of 500 gm of porcini and a walnut sized fresh white truffle from my MIL in yesterdays post.

How would you use them?

I dunno about the truffle, but I'd be sure to be very careful with it hahaha!

I got some safron, not quite as expensive but still expensive enough.  I love my consumable christmas gifts

If you want the truffle to last, I always make a homemade truffle butter and freeze for later use.

Great with parmesan and noodles. Sunny side eggs, brussel sprouts, asparagus and much, much more. Lucky you!
