I have used a Rhine wine and salt ,pepper brine . Then roasting with apples and oranges in the cavity in equal amounts , using a roasting bag basting at 20-30 minutes apart , this gave a very moist turkey that was tender. I would like to better this with something extra ,,,any feed back would be considered.  Thank you.

Bacon?  I heard it makes everything better.   /img/vbsmilies/smilies/biggrin.gif j/k.  I think what you're doing sounds pretty good.  You can make it different by adding your choice of herbs to the brining liquid or fresh chopped herbs under ths skin.
