So I know there is a similar thread, but my question is a bit different. I just graduated school and I am looking for a job in NYC and I am looking for a place to learn and get some worthwhile experience, pay is secondary (as long as it's something). I am mostly interested in learning classic French basics/techniques, but I'm open to any type of cuisine. I've been thinking about an internship, apprenticeship, or shadowing, but I need something that pays. Can anyone recommend some good and well respected restaurants or chefs to look into?
