I have found in the recent weeks that my fav thing to cook with is corrionder. It can really bring a dish into a totally new level. I found out a new way to use it just this weekend, that it can also be used in pasta in a simple chicken dish. I had it at a restaurant in dub city on sun night and it just blew me away :)

Is there anything you are into at the moment or have found you just love to use all the time in your dishes.

Goat cheese... I love the bog-standard roll stuff in the supermarket for tarts.   my pal also makes a variety of flavoured soft cheeses too which are superb.

I have to add goat...Tasted it for the first time this week in a tagine. Same pal cooked one of his own Morrocon style and it was superb

    Meat.

    More specific?  How about pork?

More specific?  How about pork shoulder - I use it for a number of dishes.

Right now I'm on a summer squash kick.  Zucchini and grey squash mostly.  I head to the farmers market every Saturday, get a huge squash and then cook it for breakfast on Sunday, tossed with a few eggs and eat the WHOLE thing by myself.

A friend gave Karen some lavender flavored chocolate sauce.  It may still be somewhere in the back of the fridge.  It tasted like chocolate flavored shampoo.  Not one of its best uses.

I have been using slot of sour cream. I'm finding it goes well with just about everything. Not the healthiest option but delicious none the less.

Rapini and Kale. They are both relatively new standards at my neighborhood produce market, are insanely healthy, relatively inexpensive and they always look good, so I've been eating them both a lot lately.

This time of year I can't say I "cook" a lot of anything in particular. EVERYTHING looks good at the fruit and farmers' markets. I end up mostly eating fresh seasonal fruits and raw, ripe locally field grown tomatoes.
