I have not gone to culinary school but am good enough that I might get a stage position locally.  My question is: I have a chef's jacket from a week I spent with a chef at Le Cordon Bleu and it has the school logo on it.  Can I wear that if I am not a grad?

    Thanks

It's a jacket ... not a diploma or any kinda certification. If it bothers you, put a piece of duct tape over the logo. Tell whoever is in charge that you are just wearing a jacket. Ask if the have one for you if it's a situation. Don't let it bother you.

Agree for the most part, but just be ready to encounter a few who might suspect you

of trying to pass yourself off as something youre not. But as Iceman  indicated, just let

them know up front,..."Oh the logo? Nah this is a borriowed chefcoat, couldn't find my other one. "

    Or some such.

    Good luck.

Or you could buy one for 20 bucks and show that you care enough to make that purchase.
