what to open culinary business

    Hi All.....I would like to open a small fresh foods business. I will begin my business from an incubator kitchen located in the industrial area of the city. My problem is marketing and promoting the business. It will have to be a delivery and pick-up only service, to start.  I cannot post the business name on the incubator kitchen building.  Any suggestions on promoting the business???? Thank you for your input!!!

    If you can't put your name on the unit then put it on your delivery vehicle. Get some magnetic signs made and get your friends to put them on their cars. Try and get them to park near your target market!

    A web site is an absolute must do. Get as much information on it as you can.

    I like the magnetic sign idea and a website of course. All contact information is important, not necessarily the location. With technology these days, you can operate an "office" from your smart phone-connected to your website and email. You won't miss any one trying to contact you. 

         The labels on your product should have your contact info on them and web address. Of course, you can also have a Facebook page and list your company on various websites. Everyone googles now. Old fashioned brick and mortar locations are now of secondary importance.

    Marketing can be done through third party websites, facebook and through other business channels.

    What are small fresh foods? Foods, ingredients, meals? Get your target audience identified. Then pick some charitable/social events these customers attend and donate.
