What can i do with Guava?

I'm currently spending a year abroad in Jerusalem, Israel and the outdoor market here is amazing. Everywhere i walk i smell the wonderful smell of guava but i have no idea what to do with them. Any ideas?

I'm not 100% sure on this, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're supposed to eat them.

I love Guava. We had a Guava tree out in the backyard when I was growing up. My cousins and I spent alot of time picking and eating them under the tree.

You can eat them as is, make a drink out of them or a batch of Guava Jelly if you like. *Sigh* One of the other things I miss from home.
