What do you do with jicama?

    I know its great for salads but is there anything else (that tastes yummy) it can be used for?

    Never worked with it, but I believe it can be treated the same ways that you might treat a potato or sweet potato, i.e. mash, boil, fry, puree, bake, etc.

    Jicama is great for making various slaws.

    It also makes a fine substitute for crackers. Just peel it, slice it, and pile on the goodies.

    I've used it, peeled and cut into small cubes, in stir fry.  It's pretty yummy.
