    What do I do if a guest is being despised me because I've not studied or attended culinary school and she said front of me i am just only a helper cook,,

    Did you mean a customer?  If a guest ever said that to me I'd insist they leave while the going was good. 

    Context is everything here, but if you're going to be in the food business you need a thick skin - I wouldn't take it personal.

    Ignorance on the part of someone else is never a good excuse for ignorance on my part. Just because she said you were only a helper a cook doesn't make it true and even if it were true what is wrong with a helper cook. There is nothing shameful about being a helper cook. The shame is on the her.

    thank you for your advice,she return again here in hotel and she order in ala carte and she amaze and told the waiter the food is  very good and she talk to me,while we talk each other the one of her friend tell that,he want tonight a family style dinner and he request they want a different food,is not from menu,and i said our stock is not a lot,i just order what i used in the menu,and the guest spoke again and he said cook it what is your available in your stock,we need appetizer,soup.main course,vegetable and also dessert,,and also before we eat explained everything,and i answer,yes sir i can do it what do you want,for me thats is a challenges and i can prove it what can i do,that night i prepare a food good for 6 pax, to may soup is 2 potato shrimp chowder,2 baked florentine garlic cheese oyster, for main course roasted chicken with spanish rice and her souce is rosemary beef jus,for vege is saute tyme vegetable and the last one i made a chocolate volcano,,and i call the waiter and told him before you put the food i will explain front of the guest and i will give you sign if its ok,we done everything and before left the guest he call me and he said,your food its great,you amaze me,we will back again and he gave me a tip 60 dollar for phillipine money i think is 2500 pesos,,and return to kitchen and we are happy for the comment of guest and also the tip,and to my self i proud bec i make it,

    A happy end indeed, but i still hate her first arrogant and unpolite comment.
