How about a spiced pan-seared duck breast with a sweet potato broccoli hash.

Duck breast seasoned with a spice rub of coriander and star anise, pan seared and then finished in a hot oven, served with a sweet potato, ginger, and 5 spice sauce

Rice pilaf with peppers, spring onions, garlic, red onions, and rosemary

Broccoli tossed with a thyme brown butter

Saute ginger, yellow onion, and 5 spice in duck fat until golden brown. Add diced, peeled sweet potatoes. Deglaze with marsala. Add a stock made from duck confit bones and kombu. Simmer until potatoes are thoroughly tender. Add a honey white balsamic gastrique. Blend and strain through etamine.

Would you like a more exact recipe with amounts or further explanations or what can I do to help?

Yes, I thought perhaps the "how to" that I posted on the sauce was maybe too brief in nature for your needs.
