    Hi,

I am considering buying a Viking Stand Mixer primarily to make pizza dough weekly.  My only experience is with the Kitchen Aid and that worked well for years, but even after a repair, can no longer handle dough.  Does anyone own this mixer and care to share their experiences?  It should certainly be able to handle pizza dough, right?  (The info provided by the company only offers watts, which speaks to the electricity used, but not the torque/power.)

    Thanks!

Looking for a good pizza dough mixer. If you haven't bought yet, I've

never used a Viking, I have an Assistent mixer. Good for any dough. Runs a bit different from what you're probably used to but nothing better if you're looking for long term use. Check it out by googling Assistent in USA or Canada too, thats where I'm from.
