years ago....messy messy sammie.....
blanched cauliflower, blanched broccoli....coarsely chop both....
saute big dice onions, summer squash
add broccoli and cauliflower.....
9 grain bread, swiss, mayo, "spike" found in healthfood stores....salty spice mix, hot veg mix....oh man....
toast the bread and melt cheese.
Then there's the ever popular: hummos, red onion, peeled charred red pepper, arugula, sunflower sprouts, tapenade, cuke slices.....pretty much any combo of the above.
Had a great one the other day......pumpernickle bread slightly toasted, mayo, scrambled eggs, sliced beets, arugula....YUM!
Just Jim, forgot about the avacado on the beet salad....man avacados make everything tasty.
