If you can, listen tonight to "All Things Considered" on your local NPR station. They have a piece on the "lunch ladies" at Roosevelt High School (in Seattle, WA) -- the making, serving, and eating (or not) of Turkey Tetrazzini. It's really a hoot! If you can't listen live, you can get it on the web at NPR.ORG. They even give the recipe. But watch out -- it makes 6 gallons of the stuff! Enjoy!!
Well, was school cafeteria stuff (I hesitate to call it "food") ever cutting edge? Actually, according to the report, TT was one of the more popular dishes served! Hey, if it makes the "customers" happy, who are we to object?!
