To use up duck giblets, can I make this marinade into a sauce?

I'm going off-recipe here. I am making this recipe for roasted duck. The duck came with giblets, which I don't really know what to use for. I am thinking of taking the marinade, straining it into a saucepan, adding the giblets, and reducing until it makes a glossy sauce. Will this work? Or do you think I should use the giblets for something else?

The link didn't post. The marinade is:

    1 cup honey
    2 cup soy sauce
    1 cup cold black coffee
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh ginger
    1/4 cup lite miso
    1/3 cup light brown sugar
    1 orange, juice
    1 lemon, juice
    1 lime, juice

Personally I save the livers for breakfast with eggs, grits, etc.  The heart and gizzard I roast with the duck (outside not in) it gives me something to snack on while cooking.  The heart will cook faster than the gizzard.  When your gizzard is tender then your bird is done.  ;)
