    Can't boil water
Hello there we are Maria & Stephen and yes we can boil water lol but we are no chefs. We are tired of basic food and love to try new things and are open to almost all things with the exception of spicy food. We are a young couple with 2kids and love to explore whatever is out there so please feel free to send me ideas to try and i will surely let you know how it turns out.

    Cook At Home
Hi Maria and Stephen. Welcome to Chef Talk. I guess I'm not sure whom I'm addressing when you say "send me ideas", but if it's anything like my house, it's probably Maria, right?! /img/vbsmilies/smilies/lol.gif  Or not... sorry if I got that wrong.

At any rate, the way Chef Talk works is that you're invited to read all the forums as well as the cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews and everything else here- and there's a LOT here. However: when it comes to posting, home cooks like you and I mustn't post in the professionals' forums, which are reserved just for the pros. Everyone posts in the general forums, so your comments and questions will be responded to there. Choose the best forum for your topic and start a new thread. You can also search the site and read past discussions, too. Just be aware that some of them may have "paused" years ago, so you may want to consider that if you decide to post. If you have any questions about how the site works, we have a tutorial here: http://www.cheftalk.com/a/faq

We hope you take time to explore the site and get a feel for the community. Our members hail from all over the world, have every level of knowledge about food and cooking, and are generally quite helpful when it comes to answering questions and sharing their experiences, whether the members are professionals or home cooks, makes no difference.

Enjoy the site and visit often! I hope you share and learn here as often as you can.
