Just wanted to say hello to all, after lurking around the forum, (notably kitchen knives), for an indecent period of time; time to contribute in my own, albeit limited way.  Done lots of cookin', even had a restaurant, plenty fun,even if a mild form of slavery, and have thus far very much appreciated virtually every contribution perused here.  Just a quick question, (not sure if this is ok for "welcome"); was Boar_d_laze employed by the Blue Fox in the late sixties, early seventies, by any chance?  (Long story)

We are a broad kirk as we like to think - people from around the globe and all levels of culinary ability -which makes for interesting 'conversations' sometimes!

Feel free to join in on any thread you find of interest, or start your own in the relevant forum.  The wikis, blogs. reviews and articles are worth a look so, too, the photography.

If you have a question for a member (Bordelaise) - then it would be better to PM him!
