Does anyone know what thermometer America's Test Kitchen uses on their show?

    I believe they use Thermapen.

Whichever model they use, it has an uncanny nack for always showing the right temperature at the exact moment the camera needs the right temp to be shown.  /img/vbsmilies/smilies/lol.gif

I thought it might be.  Not too sure if it's worth all the money for it.  It's so expensive.

IMO the Thermapen is worth it.  It's fast, accurate and can switch between F and C by accessing the dip switches inside.  You can save some by getting a refurbished one.  I have one and recently scored another one.
