I live in the plains of Montana and once a year I cook for 30 people for the Custer Battle Reenactment. I am looking for recipes that can be done in a less than ideal conditions. My BEL consist of a BBQ grill, 4 foot propane grill and various camp stoves. We dry camp for 5 days and no electricity except for generators. Every morning I cook up Bacon, Eggs, hash brown, pancakes and the perk coffee. These people are the meat and potatoes type of people and I tried to twist up dinner a couple of times and I got some very strange looks when I put out a garden fresh salad with a fresh vinaigrette dressing. I am looking for recipes I could do for the meat and potatoes crowd. Robert.
