Bit of a glob trotting, now slightly settled Chef, residing currently just outside of DC in Old Town Fairfax. Born and raised in Hamilton Bermuda, I have lived/worked most recently in Honolulu( I saw kaneohegirl on here, nice to see someone from the 80, Amsterdam where I completed my sommelier training and certifications, Sheffield England, Brussels, Northern France, Virginia Beach, Seattle WA, Vancouver BC, and traveled to many points in between. I currently work as a Cop Support Chef, and help oversee 11 units in Washington DC, one in Philly. We do high end catering, and Executive dining for some of the nations top Law Firms, and also have the United States Institute of Peace, National education Association, and NatGeo. It is a lot of the joys of being a Chef as every unit has a weekly menu that changes for the cafes, Seasonal Catering menus, and while my kitchen time gets a bit limited because of the admin side of things, it is still great to do the food we want, but no late nights, weekends, or holidays. It's a GREAT quality of life, having come from the hotel Industry, and having owned/operated 3 of my own places when I was in Virginia Beach.
