Hi everyone. I'm hoping some of you can help me with this problem. I am trying to make a super shiny glaze for an Italian cookie called Sospiri. I have tired several ways. Fondant icing, thinned royal icing, icing sugar glaze, but none of these retain their "wet" shiny glaze look when they are refrigerated. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help or a recipe if you have one and are willing to share would be great. Thank you in advance.
