Tuesday I made Barbarah Wheeler's Fresh Coconut Cake, which is on this site. Everyone loved it, but the last line reads, "Store the cake in the refrigerator up to 24 hours." Does that mean the cake has gone bad in 24? The icing was made like meringue - egg whites mixed with hot sugar syrup. There's still a bit of cake left, but I don't want to send everyone to the porcelain bowl.... Why does it have that line? Thanks!
