Spruce tips

Which dishes have you found success with when integrating spruce tips either as a garnish or side? Also, where would I source them from?
Any ideas?

Never used them but I have about a dozen 100'+ trees in my front yard. Messy!

I'd be interested to hear from people also. I've only known spruce tips in context of brewing.
