Springform Pans

    Any recommendations on a good springform pan?

    kaiser has springform pans, and I've used them without problems. Rather heavy duty and has a non stick coating. But it cost me dearly.

    If you do however, plan to use it (kaiser) in a water bath, I remember reading somewhere(but I've forgetten where) that it is not water proof, meaning you would still need to wrap heavy duty aluminium foil around the base.

    But in my humblest opinion and thinking, any heavy duty springform pan will do, just don't settle for light thin ones. With that in mind, it ought to last you a long time with decent care.
