spliting and peeling nails

    Hi,

    As I work in the high volume restaurant, my nails started to split/peel, I mean, especially on my left hand and especially the nail on the pointing finger. I don't care that much for pretty looks, but the nail became so short that is sort of uncomfortable to chop when I use my fingers to guide the knife. any tips?

    Well, your knife shouldn't be touching your fingernails, really, maybe you need to curl your fingers more? Also, not sure how it's work related. The only time I had an issue with my nails peeling, I solved it by changing my diet.
