I ran into this stuff at the store and I couldn't leave without a box of it.  Now for the fun part, what should I do with it?

Not familiar with that brand, but I have smoked alder and cherry salt and I use it sparingly.  A little goes a long way for finish seasoning, but I'm liberal when I want a smoky crust on something, or want to infuse a smoke flavor early in a dish.

It sounds like it would be great on foie gras!

And I like it on a otherwise bland fish like an Orange Roughy or a sole. Also tasty on any kind of egg dish.

I like bacon in popcorn. I bet a little sprinkle of smoked salt would be pretty good, too.

So far I've put it on baked flounder and today I had it in my popcorn. It's very nice!
