ok, so i was at Restaurant Depot a few months back and bought a big piece of slab bacon. I used probably half of it, but the other half has been in my freezer since and had forgotten about it... until today when i was cleaning out the freezer. I got to thinking, what could i do with it, other than.... slice it and fry for breakfast, wrap meats, regular uses. Anyone ever roast it whole? braise it? Im just wanting to do something different with it, something outside the norm maybe?
