I rather like the Cthuken, but I'm twisted that way.
How violently disturbing..
I like BBQ gator but... ewwwwwwwwwwwww
Well, presenting food in rather disturbing ways is a good old tradition - just look at some Roman culinary history, e.g. the Cena Trimalchionis:
"For example, in the fictional Cena Trimalchionis (Trimalchio's Dinner), written by Petronius Arbiter during the reign of Nero (54–68 A.D.), the wealthy freedman Trimalchio serves his guests numerous extravagant dishes, such as a roasted pig stuffed with sausages, a hare decorated with wings to resemble Pegasus, and various foods arranged in the shape of the twelve signs of the zodiac."
Heston Blumenthal picked up that thing with the pig in Heston's Feasts. The point about that dish was to slice open the belly of the roasted pig and have the sausages fall out on the table like the pig's original entrails where still in there. Well... yeah.... uhm. I think I stick with the gator shown above.
Ugh I wish I hadn't seen that.
I like the gator wrapped in bacon but adding the chicken was over the top.
I loved the Cthuken!!!!
There is, in fact, alread Cthuken fan-art....
Seriously, from mass-grilling of goats in one thread to Cthuken in others.... Where are we ending up here???
