Shorthand?

  1. What techniques does everyone use to write things down (recipes, orders, personal checklists, notes, etc) quickly? Anyone have a particularly ingenious way of doing things?

    I myself have been using a mixture of traditional shorthand, and symbols (squiggly line for water, etc.)

    Different strokes for different folks, whatever works for you. I sometime use chemical symbols.
