I've previously made a batch of rugelach cookies using this recipe

227g cream cheese @rtp

¾ cup butter @rtp

2 cups plain flour

¼ cup white sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

¼ tsp salt

1 ½ tsp cinnamon

½ cup strawberry jam

¼ cup apricot jam/marmalade

½  cup raisins, soaked in juice overnight

1 tsp vanilla

1 egg

1 tbsp milk

[if !supportLists]6.       [endif]On a floured surface, roll out dough into a 9” circle

[if !supportLists]7.       [endif]Mix marmalade & strawberry jam. Heat & strain.

[if !supportLists]10.   [endif]Cut circle into 12 wedges

[if !supportLists]11.   [endif]Roll up each wedge, place on baking sheet

[if !supportLists]12.   [endif]Chill for 30min

[if !supportLists]13.   [endif]Whisk tgt egg, milk

[if !supportLists]14.   [endif]Brush cookies w egg wash

[if !supportLists]15.   [endif]Bake @180⁰C for 20-25min

but unfortunately it resulted in a really wet sticky dough (before I added the jam). It tastes pretty gud when it came out I suppose except that it was kinda soft and I probably put way too much jam in it. Is it because I live in a hot country & hence my dough melted? I alr chilled the dough overnight though, and unfortunately I don't have an air conditioned kitchen :/
