I've read some of the recipes in a book entitled the Medieval Kitchen and would like to substitute some rosewater for water in order to make a tart crust.  Can someone recommend a good quality rosewater and LorAnn Oils doesn't seem to carry it.

We ain't talking attar of rose either.

A good one is Cortas. I am not sure if Trader Joe's sells it but it just might.

Just ordered some Cortas from Amazon.  Thanks for the recommendation.

I got mine from Nugget Market here in Sacramento California... the brand is  "Sadaf" and it is made in Lebanon...  it is very fragrant. I use it in buttercream and French Macarons..  I used to make my own.. it is very easy.. all you need is distilled water and organic Rose petals..

Received the Cortas and the perfumy aroma smells wonderful.
