Restaurant work vs Catering work

    As I am starting my culinary arts diploma in May I have been looking more and more into the options for after I graduate. I am looking to get opinions from those of you in the field, or knowledgeable in the field, about the positives and negatives/ differences and similarities of Restaurant work vs Catering work. Also any other options you have an opinion or any knowledge of I'd love to hear about as well

    Im also soon to be a culinary student but im most certainly sure that restaurant work will be great. at first a lot of experience and could help u on getting an idea on how to keep up with the pressure. my opinion....!/img/vbsmilies/smilies/smile.gif

    The catering is vastly different than restaurant work---

    I don't know where to begin---perhaps I'll be back later--but I'll leave you with this thought---

    Both careers have great rewards and challenges---but they are totally different and few can cross for one world into the other successfully---
