Ratio question for bolognese sauce

Quick question about the ratio for a beef/pork combination in Marcella Hazan's Bolognese Meat Sauce recipe from "Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking":

-The recipe calls for 3/4 pound ground beef, but there is a note that for more flavor you can use 1 part ground pork to 2 parts beef.  So does that mean to use 1/4 lb ground pork and 1/2 lb ground beef, adding up to the original 3/4 pounds of ground beef?

In Lidia's Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine...

We use a ratio of 1:1:1 Veal, beef, pork. Lucky for us we have a huge Italian population so the mix comes on sale at least once a month.
