I'm trying to clean out my freezer and would like some interesting ideas on what to do with a box of puff pastry that needs to be used up.  These are the things that I have already done with it, any new ideas?

    - Rolled it up with spinach and cheese to make pinwheels

    - used it as pizza dough

    - used it as topping for pot pies

It's a good idea but the purpose of this is to clear out my freezer, not buy a really expensive cut of meat.  But yes I have considered and like the idea.

I was perusing this forum and found your question.I wondered what you did w/ your puff pastry, because I have two boxes left over from New Year's Eve? I also have a huge bowl of mixed berries. So far I've decided to get some cream cheese, mix it w/sugar and vailla, roll out mypastry, and put the mixture (cream cheese and berries) inside turnover style. I will probably have time to do this tomorrow. If it works, I will freeze the rest since we're not having company for awhile.

breadsticks...or rather parmesan twists.....roll parmesan and herbs into pastry, twist and bake

    turnovers, empanadas or spanokopita

croissants...savory(filled with ham and cheese) or sweet

large crouton for soup(like onion) or larger to nest an entree

Ah, thanks for reminding me.  I had 2 of them, one I laid over a steak and guiness pie and the other I sprinkled it with sugar and cinnamon and cut it into triangles that I then roasted.  I served it with fresh apple compote and creme anglais... it's something I've done before it it really is delicious and you can do it with many fruits.  Or you can just serve the triangles with ice cream.
