I am trying to make a base for a square & just can't find anything that will help it stay together. Because of illness & allergies I am substituting everything - it has to be gluten free, vegan & preferable made with a natural diabetic friendly sugar. Oh & no nuts or tree nuts either.

My base recipe is brown rice flour, quinoa flakes, vegan butter (I'm using earth balance), palm sugar (clients request) & xanthan gum.

I don't have exact measurements with me, I'm at home today & this is driving me crazy. I have tried adding some starch (tapioca & potato), I have tried adding some gf oats, I have tried using coconut sugar & oil, I have tried xylitol.... I have tried baking longer, nothing will hold it together!

It needs a binder that will hold it together, any suggestions????
