pricing an off site catering event for 400 persons/they are providing food items

    Hi all,

    I am new to his forum so first off Hello! I have hired an event planner for a corporate client of mine. The client is hosting an invite only event (community leaders plus their employees) at their site. They are providing the food items, we are responsible for off site prep (not allowed to use their kitchen) chef, cooks, wait staff, rentals etc. Their will be 400 guests, with food prep involving mostly finger foods, passed HD's and some drinks, 3 stationary food stations, 2 dessert stations, one coffee station. I haven't priced an off site event that provided the food so any info on total costs would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you, Maria

    Figure your time and labor cost, rental  charges etc. A party or event planner should know this, otherwise as you get paid so should the person you ask to do this and figure it out for you.
