Can you over cook meat in a pressure cooker. Made spaghetti in it and turned out fine. Need 2 cups of water for steam and rest was sauce, canned diced tomatoes, spaghetti then chop meat on top took 20 minutes. Was thinking of doing the same instead of chop meat using boneless chicken thighs, 5 of them. Think 20 min will be fine for them? Going to use different pasta

Yes, you can over cook meat in a pressure cooker.

Are you leaving the thighs intact? If yes, use skinless thighs, but bone in will offer a flavor bump over boneless. As to the timing, if they're palm sized (think playing cards, a deck  to a deck and half in size), then 20 minutes will be about right. If they're larger, (2 decks or more) you'll probably need a few more minutes.

They are the bone lesson and skinless 5 to a pack 8 packs you get at costco. Made them last night and everything turned out great. Today making shells in the pressure cooker with meat and 2 type beans and of course shells pasta.

Doesn't matter what brand it is - it's the technique that you need to learn.  It's not like a "dump cake" thing there are guide lines I mean unless you like eating mush.

certainly the meat will be over cooked if not removed in time.finally the steam will g out and the meat will start to burn inside.in a pressure cooker rice gets cooked 1/3 the amount of time as that of open flame cooking.you can google and find the time you want to keep your meat in the cooker easily with a lot of recipes online.
