Evocative epicurism can be enjoyed at:

    1) Restaurant Tavares - Baixa Chiado, Downtown Lisbon, Portugal ( the seabass and the codfish are to die for ) ...

    2) The Fado Museum ... Fado is a jazz infused African and Goa, Indian Portuguese folkloric music, singing and dance ... not quite Flamenco ... not quite Samba ... soulful and truly worthwhile instrumentally.

    3) Chef Gaetano Billeggi, a disciple of Gordon Ramsey, holds court at the Restaurant La Oficina Bye Bye Blues located in the boutique Hotel Quarttoquinto Spa 4 Star which is an absolute haven and runs from 100 Euros a night for a gorgeous double ...

    4) Ristorante Carlo V is highly recommended for a reasonable priced lunch close to the above named hotel ... One of the oldest establishments in Palermo, the owners are wonderful. The Fresh Roasted Aubergine is to die for ... and the pastas ... well, I am Italian ...

    5)  Ristorante Cavelli, The Horseshoe, located very close to Zara, the Spanish retail chain has a delicious bill of fare ... the pastas are highly recommended. Great on purse. Prosecco ... enjoy.
