Can I saute a pork tenderloin, then cook it a few hours later?

If you're finishing it in the oven, start it in a cold oven so it warms through before it begins cooking and you should be fine.

Pork tenderloin cooks so fast why bother?  My vote is no, as pork tenderloin tends to dry out pretty quickly.  Also sounds like a food safety issue to leave half cooked pork laying around.
