    Hello,

I am 26 years old Web designer from India.

I saw some show on tv, and I decided to become cake/cupcake maker/decorator. I think its really interesting job, how they make some beautiful and interesting cake, desserts etc for people and make them happy. when there is design, color, creativity I always attract to that field. but this field I eagerly want to join. because its not only make client happy but also the one who make it.

please guide me what should I do to enter in this field.

I also have one more question that..can I create career in this field as I mention I am 26 years old, actually when I ask about course related to this field they mention that I am not eligible for internship. but I really interested in this field.

    please help me. :)

First, you won't get rich at it, so keep that in mind.  I would look into culinary school to learn the basics.  Cake decorating is all about practice.  You can find online courses and tutorials that can help with techniques, but it's all about refining skills.

Make some buttercream, get some piping bags and start practicing.

If you live in the U.S. most big groceries have a baking department that makes custom cakes to order. Maybe you can get a part-time job there and learn a little and see how you like it. Then you can decide if it's something you want to pursue.
