Has anyone tried Peter Reinhart's latest book? How does it compare to "Crust and Crumb"?

It's a great book. It picks up where C&C leaves off. Lots of color photography and the benefit of 5 more years of knowledge accumulation!

I'll second that. Fabulous book, so far. Can't wait to try the pain ancienne. Or the rye breads.

I would think you could start with The Bread Baker's Apprentice. It is similar info with 5 years of refinements.
