I once was served a pecan pie, but instead of the ooey-gooey filling this pie had a creamy texture (almost, but not quite, soft cream cheese texture). It was still sweet but a little lighter in color and creamier. The pie was extremely delicious. I don't know who made it to get the recipe. Can anyone help me if you're aware of a pecan pie recipe that uses cream cheese or cream or anything like that to get that kind of texture.
