Peanut butter instead of butter?

    I'm making an amish peanut butter pie. The cream base contains no peanut butter, but I want to put some in there. Do I omit the butter called for in the recipe, or cut it in half?

    Is the butter in the pie filling or the crust??

    No  I would put 1/2  1/2.  and you could even dot into crust.
