I recently saw a reference to the negative effects of foods containing oxalic acid (cranberries, spinach, rhubarb) on arthritis.

    First, is this true?

Second, if so, what other foods contain oxalic acid?

Oxalic acid: A potentially toxic chemical found in certain plants that inhibits the absortion pf calcium, iron, zinc an other minerals. Can promote the formation of kidney and bladder stones.

Raspberries and strawberries also contain oxalic acid.
