Help!  I have searched this whole internet to find a recipe of an Italian pastry I use to have when I was a kid.  The name of it was called " a Delisioso" and it was to die for!  I can remember it having a round crunchy cookie on the bottom ( about 4 inches in diameter) then a nocciolo cream, then another cookie on top. It had sliced almonds or pistachios stuck to the sides of it and I think there was powdered sugar on top, I am not sure. When I tell you that this pastry was absolutely delicious, I mean it!  Please, if anyone can help me with a good recipe, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance...Maddalena/img/vbsmilies/smilies/smile.gif

I don't have a recipe but since google doesn't forgive spelling errors, try "delizioso" with a z.

it's pronounced deh-leet-ZYO-zo  the z is pronounced like tz

of course it could have been your local pastry shop's personal name for it, it just means "delicious" and probably is the name of many dishes, but give that a try.
