So quick backstory, I’m a month from my 37th birthday and currently the full time care giver to my 18 month old son, swapped with my wife so she could get back to her career after a year off.
We decided to put feelers our and see what jobs would be available to me that wouldn’t cause to much grief for the home life and after a couple months a role came up that looked promising and after a trial I have been offered an apprenticeship in a Brazilian Churrasco restaurant I think it’ll tie in well with the butchery qualification

What position did you get into? Restaurant life is rarely ever easy on the family life.

It’s a chef apprenticeship when I said I needed a job that wouldn’t cause to much grief it was in regards to hours as I’m still the primary care giver to the wee child.
