I am a recent college grad from northwest Ohio with 2 years experience in food service. I started as dishwasher and worked my way up to student cook. I'm now a full time cook at a buffet-style dining facility on the college campus near where I live.

I am interested in expanding my understanding and skills of various cooking methods and techniques at home, as well as the possibility of furthering a career in restaurant food service and fine dining. My academic background is unrelated to my experience in food service.

My apartment lease is up in July and my options are wide open to moving somewhere else. I'm single and don't have any big obligations keeping me where I currently live.

Glad to be here! I've been following some threads for the past couple weeks.
