Tonight's dinner was a mushroom risotto (porcini and oyster) with a red lettuce, roast beef bits, feta, etc. salad. Good stuff. I've made a few risottos over the years, but it occurred to me that I have never had one in a restaurant - I've only eaten my own. They are tasty, Karen and I slick them right up. I have no idea how they compare to what you might get anywhere else. Someday I'll get a chance, but for now, what dishes have you made that others offer, but you've only tasted your own? mjb.
