New to this...

    Just joined this today and have a simple question...How do i make my chocolate chip cookies crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle?/img/vbsmilies/smilies/rolleyes.gif    Thanks

    Slightly underbake and/or add a Tbs or two of corn syrup to your dough. Adding a pkg of instant vanilla pudding mix also keeps cookies chewy. I'm probably gonna get hosed for that one but it's true.

    You say baby! I do too.. also in the kitchen. Trying to break that habit, sometimes it slips out with the Exec.

    I add the corn syrup when I add the egg but the pudding mix should be added with the flour. I prefer the corn syrup though because the pudding imparts flavor also that I don't necessarily want.
